Hi there,
I've had my Samsung Galaxy S3 for about a month now and there are various things that I would have thought obvious and simple to do that I just can't find a way of doing...
I realise there is often a straightforward way of doing something that I've probably missed but I can't work out how to create a specific location on Maps (stock Google maps app) for a given contact.
To be more specific:
I can go to the Contacts, create a new contact and add an address.
That's great if the address is somewhere Google maps searches for and finds, but more often than not the places where my contacts are located are not "found" by the Maps app and so it is rendered useless (it just comes up saying "not found" or brings up ten possible "matches" which just happen to be nowhere near the actual location). Not easy to get directions to!
What I'm trying to do is to pick a specific point on the map and then add that to the contact (more like a grid reference or OS coordinate) so Google maps doesn't "search", it just accepts that pin-point location.
Any help would be deeply appreciated.
