I have been doing a project for the summer, basically its to help 1st year student with learning java, all the materials where supplied by lecture (as in the topic and description, Quiz question and answers.)
I just had to build from scratch - A website in asp.net and C# (done).
An application, done in java, just a simple GUI quiz application .jar. (done).
Now a phone app and I have choosing to do an Android app but not sure where to start.
What I want the App to do:
The App I want to build will have a list of topics about 15 can be buttons or in a scroll-able list, when a topic is clicked a new page will show with the info on that topic and a way to get back to the list that's it.
I know you are probably saying that nothing but as I have stated this is the first time at android so looking for some ideas and help to get me started as don't know how the data will be stored.
What I need to know is:
1: how do I store the data that I want to use in my project (I have the data in a database in workbench).
2: how do I get the data to show on the list / buttons.
