Apps Criteria of choosing tablet to start developing Android app?

Greetings.
I'm going to start developing for Android (in which domain I am a complete newbie). How shall I choose the tablet? Could you help me to compile a list of worthy devices?

The basic requirements are:
-Android 3.0+
-USB host
-Under $450-500

Any suggestions?

I would pick the Asus Transformer. It fits what you're looking for pretty well I think.

Of course, I did research, but there's one thing I couldn't clarify - are there any special considerations to be taken when choosing tab for development?

Not that I know of, although the toshiba has more full-sized ports and whatnot -- could be nice if you plan on developing stuff to work with the USB host mode

Edit: the Toshiba is called the "Thrive"

I only need 1 port for the future app. One last question then: do I need full-size USB port for debugging, or tab can be connected to PC through mini-USB?

all of them are debuggable, and I would guess that most have micro-usb (slight difference from mini-usb)

That's what I meant, thanks for clarifying that. Then, it looks like any of the aforementioned tabs will do for me. Have to see what's available in local stores (unfortunately, neither availability nor prices match those in USA or western Europe, so my current choice is Acer due to absence of actual choice.)

Thanks! I'm currently reading Android SDK tutorials, and I'm afraid making that app will take quite a long while. I'm also afraid I might need to come back here for advice long before the app's finished
