Root CRM not working

I am trying to upgrade to the newest UD out coming from 2.0 but clockwork recovery will not boot to recovery either using rom manager or by holding down x ... it just stays on the logo screen until I do a battery pull. need some help trying to fix this please, I have been at it for about 12 hours now almost

I finally got the new rom working but only by using this method http://androidforums.com/droid-all-...oid-without-rsd-lite-up-including-frg83d.html its the one where you use rsd lite. I tried the new adb method as well as the one click that was made recently for the adb method, not sure why nothing would work.
