Crossed calls...

We seem to be having a rash of crossed calls, dial a number but get somebody you don't know and the person you are calling gets somebody else entirely. It has slowed down recently but is still happening, at it's peak it happened multiple times a day now it is just one or two a week.

Has anybody else had similar problems?

No.. Can't say i have had this happen... Ever. Maybe its local tower maintenance/upgrade?

Well that is interesting... I have never heard of that. I guess it is a chance to meet people lol.

This has been going on for months, although it may be a local phenomenon.

Fwiw, I have never had that happen to me or any of the people on my plan. Sounds like the old fashioned land-line switchboard stuff you'd see on Andy Griffith!
