Help Crud removal

Hi All,
does anyone know if there is any way in which I can remove all the Google and Samsung crappy apps from my S3mini. I just do not want or ever use them.

Also am I right in saying that android devices or at least my Tab 2 and S3 cannot utilise the wifi 5ghz band? Mine can only see the 2.4Ghz routers and my 5Ghz routers are only visible on my laptop and Ios devices.....

Hi

Unless you root your devices, the best you can do with preloaded apps is disable them in the app manager. They will be listed under the "all" tab (not under the downloaded tab). This will hide their icons and prevent them from running, but it wont free up the space the code is taking up

The S3 mini should pick up 5gHz. (but I guess it may depend on exact model) Have you tried picking up the 5gHz routers with the others off? If the SSIDs are the same it may default to 2.4gHz?

I dont think the Tab 2 does.

Thanks for that. The S3 sees 5ghz the Tab does not.

I know about not using the apps but wanted to clear them out altogether.

Not possible then without rooting and I do not want to go there.

As you can see I am in sw France but have not had the auto update to 4.2.2
yet, have you?
