Crusade of Destiny not on market for HTC Droid Incredible

I emailed Dvide yesterday about not being able to find crusade of destiny on the marketplace with any HTC incredible phone.

The response was that I got:

What version of Android OS are you currently running (Settings >> About
Phone >> Firmware version) ?
Right now only Android 2.0 and 2.1 allow you to see the game in the Android
Market.
If you have he new Android update Froyo 2.2 you will not be able to see any
protected apps until Google turns them on for 2.2.

I am sure that they should know what version of android the different phones are using? But anyway I emailed back and told them I have 2.1. I have heard no response back yet. I am not sure if this is a sense ui thing?

I think all that are having this problem should send them a ticket so they fix this problem.

Gotta see if it isshowing now, but here is the latest response I got from Dvide


I was not able to see the game on one of the android phones here and we just
updated the Android Market and now it shows.
You may need to restart your phone and then search for it before you see it.

Please let me know if you are able to see it after restarting your phone.

Dang, that looks like a great game.. I'll search around at work today to see if I can find an .apk for us to play until it is fixed.
 
I got the same response and rebooting the phone doesn't work. Not sure what rebooting would do anyway. Surely it wouldn't make sense for the phone to look at a cached copy of the Market? The whole point of it is for people to be able to see new apps.
 
The most recent email I got back from Dvide after my DInc still does not see this game on the market.

I have gotten several emails saying that the HTC Incredible, Hero, and
Desire can not see Crusade Of Destiny in the Android Market. After doing a
lot of research I am finding that many developers have reported this same
issue and that their apps will not show either. I am currently working on
finding a solution myself. I have not disabled support for any devices so it
seems it may be a bug with the stock firmware on the devices or the android
market itself. I will continue looking and hopefully find a solution as soon
as possible.
 
I don't think having sense has anything to do with it though, maybe just their product identifiers. For example, the Incredible is the ADR6300 or something like that. What are non-android phones series?
 
I received an email from DVide Arts today basically stating that they updated Crusade of Destiny in the Market and that I should reboot and check the market again. Which was exactly what they had said before to no joy.

However this time it's apparently true! As I just did as they asked, and voila! :)

Crusade of Destiny is now available for Incredible users in the Market.

A new version of "Crusade Of Destiny" has been submitted and should now show for HTC Incredibles. After restarting your phone can anyone with an HTC Incredible confirm that they can see it in the Android Market?

Yup, shows up in market. I'm playin the game now. Confirmed one post up from yours ^^^^ :)

Hey it does show up and i was able to download, however it either force closes upon start up or it never comes up at all. I have the HTC Hero if it makes any difference
 
For those who have it, how do you like it? I have read mixed reviews for the iPhone version, but I read that lots of the complaints were fixed for androids. Thanks!
 
I bought it and have been playing but it won't install the upgrade. It downloads and then tries to install and says unsuccessful? I just emailed the dev so I will see what they say. Since running skyraider 2.0.1 or stock froyo, depends on the day.
