Root CTMod updates???

on ct mod you will not get any updates they are blocked if i'm talking about the same thing you are?????

No I am talking about something else, Bloodawn is right its not supported anymore, I had to re-read a lot of posts...
Thank you blood... if I need a firmware update what would you suggest???

If you feel the need to do those things , you can always flash a version of CTMod 2.5 , update PRL, firmware, etc. then flash back to the newer version . There is an easy way to change your PRL though if that's all you want to do .

Thanks but I don't even know what Boost wanted me to do they instructed me to find this in (Main) settings/about phone/system updates. ??? I am not getting data at all on some apps. there doesn't seem to be any relation in the apps either, like wifi or 3g or big or small game or sys. its weird.

The only thing that I can think of that would prevent you from getting app data on certain apps is a firewall setting . If you don't have a firewall installed , I don't know what else would cause that .
 
yeah I know I thought my battery saver was the cause ( Juice Defender )
but uninstalled that... no change. re-flashed Rom... no change. did some individual reinstalling nothing. asked around here and got no results so far, but lotsa help and informed ideas. so I called the dreaded phone company annnddd...

If I had done all that and still wasn't getting the results that I wanted , I would use Odin and re-install everything from scratch .

Personally , I don't even use the FA19 update . I tried the rooted version of FA19 and my signal and 3g turned to DOODOO . I am running the EJ06 version instead . One of the many good things about CTMod and CM7 is ya don't have to worry about getting the dreaded update .

Hope ya get it straightened out . Installing everything from scratch should fix your issue , HOPEFULLY . Just be careful when you install any app that can interrupt data to other apps and make sure that you adjust the settings accordingly .

Thanks a bunch, ill be sure to remember that. Ill post the results tomorrow (today's not over till I hit the sack) again thanks man.
 
You can try GoSMSPro to see if you can get MMS working on your current build. Go into settings in GoSMS click advanced, then scroll all the way down to the MMS settings in red text. Click that, then scroll down to Fill APN configuration manually, and under that where it says MMSC put in "http://mm.myboostmobile.com" with out the " " of course.

Yeah I just took your advice wet, It took me all day to get the file (mental note to dl all the files I need and put them in a sub-folder in my dev. tools) But I got it done... From scratch, Odin/CT3.4/FlashPlayer/restore (titanium/CWM). Everything is exactly the same except I have great service on my 3g as well as wifi. I did not think this affected wifi but a very visible diff. I have two routers and IP's here. I need them for the app I'm making.

That's great news , glad that you're getting better results . :D Over the months that I've been working on this phone , I've learned that is doesn't take that long to use Odin and start with just about everything new . I found that I get better results just like you did .

I've got just about every file that I've ever downloaded from this site stored on an external HD . Ya never know when ya might need it again . ;)

That's smart but until I get my PCI to SATA adapter I am SOL for External Mem And I am running Win XP 32 SP2 (or 3) WITH A 60Gig HD hahaha, Good side is when I do get my PCI2SATA I already got a 500Gig drive ready.

Edit: I just had an idea... I can throw a copy of my entire dev folder at my extra SDcard and have a back up that way.... Doing it tonight!
