Hello All,
My battery started misbehaving recently.
When I'm using the phone, the battery percentage stays the same, only when I put it down for approx. 15 minutes does it show how much battery has been drained. What is the issue here? I already tried restoring to factory settings and flashing a new stock ROM, uninstalled most of my apps. The usage stats show that the "Android OS" eats 11%, the next culprit is the screen with 9%.
It's an Xperia Z1 Compact, problem started occurring on a rooted Lollipop 5.1.1, I reverted to KitKat 4.4.4 - Problem persisted, updated to Lollipop 5.1.1 once more, but did not root this time - Issue persists.
Also, when charging the phone, the percentage goes up normally.
Is the sensor down or something? Or does the battery need replacing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
