Update the Motorola Triumph to the latest Android OS.

Greetings,

I just signed the following petition addressed to: Motorola.

----------------
Update the Motorola Triumph to the latest Android OS.

This phone is a powerful phone and is marketed as a powerful phone. We need a Ice Cream Sandwhich kernal so we can purchase more apps from the Android App store that are compatible. And is Samsung can do it Motorola needs to support their hardware too.
----------------

Sincerely,

[Your name]

Not to sound picky, but the email could have been written differently. The email should have touched on an update being a necessity, not a luxury. The reason we need an update is to address issues with the phone, not to have extended access to the Market and have a prettier UI. If that's what the user wants, they could easily download a CM7. or CM9 rom, for that stock GB and ICS look, and feel. The email should have explained the issues that all Motorola Triumphs' have on the stock Rom and Kernel we were provided with on purchase. This will go nowhere, due to the points the email touches, and how it is explained. It even could have been worded differently to give Motorola the slightest interest in updating our phones. Remember that Motorola is a mutli-billion dollar company. The last thing they're concerned with is whether a few hundred users want a few added features. As long as the device is selling, they're making profit, and the issues with the phone don't affect the users ability to use all of the phones features, they could care less what you want, and what Samsung does. Their reply to you on that Samsung comment would be, "Go with Samsung". If you purchased the product and are taking it to this extent to get an update, you're obviously satisfied enough to have kept it before your return period was up. Nice try, but this will not get you anywhere. I'm not being negative, just thinking rationally. We would need a revision that explained something important if we wanted this to go anywhere.
