Verizon is my carrier. I'm hearing HTCDev works with it now. Do I use that for the S-off and what not, or do I have to use Sunshine because I have the one phone you have to pay to root? Basically I want to remove bloat ware, take out the volume warning, and be able to use ACR again. I might try Cyanogen or some other rom at some point, so I want the root method that leaves that option open. I've already backed up everything, so if it wipes my phone that's fine.
I'll use Sunshine if I have to. It's just a ripoff because most phones it's free and $25 is extremely overpriced, especially for a two year old phone. $5 would have been one thing, but we're talking a 1/4 of a hundred dollars for an app I'll use once. I just need to know what guide to use.
