Help currently unable to download. please try again later.

Whenever i turn my SG S4 (GT-I9505) on or restart it, i get a 'currently unable to download. Please try again later' message at the bottom of my screen. All of my apps are up to date, recently downloaded 4.4.2 and play store 4.6.17. I haven't allowed third party apps but have turned off some permissions for some apps via app ops starter. Is it just a bug with the new firmware or what?

There are a couple of things that you can try from the Update Problems - Dummies Guide...

1. As per #1.2, you can clear your cache partition.

2. Clear the Play Store cache as per Step #1 of #1.3. You may even need to clear data as per Step #2.

See if that helps.

Also make sure that you don't have an app opening on boot that needs internet access. Your connection may not be made yet when the app runs. The Amazon Free App of the Day does that on my phone on every boot. I just ignore it and it tries again in a couple of minutes.

If you are facing this message issue like currently unable to download please try later than once you try this.Go to setting>application manager >all apps.
Slect here badge provider & clear data.

Ive had this issue for awhile (ever since l updated my phone software) and it annoying to the max I tell you, the other day frittered with my phone LG G3 and lve noticed that the "unable to download..." had something to do with the message app on my phone... So I went into my message settings and l changed my default message settings from "messages" to "hangout" app which was my other option and Kaboooooommmmm!!! It magically disapeared and l havent seen it since... I dont mind using hangouts as my default for messaging. I REALLY HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU.
