Alright so I think my Sequent may have damage on the inside in the very center very left part of the screen. I have the touch setting on so it shows the white dot of where I am pressing, and it shows in that same spot without anything touching the screen. Then I am unable to press anything else since it thinks I am pressing there. After I lock the phone, then unlock, I see the white dot fade away and I can continue whatever for few seconds and BAM it's back. It comes on when I tilt the phone too. If I press hard on the screen it will go away sorta. I have dropped my phone before but that was a long time ago, so does this seem like a hardware related issue then? If so what can I do? I am through Boost Mobile. Thanks.

well there is a slight chance recalibrating may help though im not sure how you would, maybe a factory reset but even that is questionable, it would seem to be a hardware defect to me

Mmm yea it's probably gone bad inside, I just did a factory reset. I wonder if I enable phone insurance and have it sent to them for repairs.

cant do phone insurance after the fact... if you return it to stock unrooted though it may still be under factory warranty. call up zte and talk to them

Hmm well I think I bought the phone around October last year online off of boost mobile. I still have the box and all that not sure if it's still under warranty, I don't want a refund or even a new phone I just want this dam screen fixed. Are there proper ways of having someone else fix it if ZTE won't? I'll call them first to see if they can, I'll pay for shipping both ways since I'm the one that most likely broke it. Sucks no one else here has had the same problem, and I'm so ready to upgrade to JellyBeer too but can't until this is fixed.

dont worry you got a little while before jellybeer is ready to be used, the current release doesnt even have my sound fix, no sound at all in or out, and on top of that you cant read the sd card either, so its pretty useless it was just kind of a proof of concept thing lol. we're getting there though

i am sure zte will replace it for you though as long as it doesnt look like you took a hammer to it
