Custom Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) released

I see no advantages to use 2.3 now, but it can be usefull in case Lenovo doesn't release an official 2.3 update
 
Hello,

For this firmware, LeOS 2.0 must be installed first, but it is not yet released, so how can we update ? thank you
 
Arrrg !!! it happens to me every time I try to update : my lephone bricked !!!

I put the LeOS 2.0 rom in image folder on TF card, and when I power on with mirror key pressed I see command lines and then nothing, so I released the power button and mirror button : the phone boot up but stays at the "lenovo" screen

Can someone tell me how to solve this *little* problem ? thank you...

EDIT: nevermind, I tried again and it worked
 
AGAIN:

The most common mistake is hold the power button too long when starting the phone with the right button pressed.

That's why remove the battery, and start the phone putting the battery back is the best method.
 
Thank you but it's fine I managed to upgrade to LeOS 2.0

The problem now is that when I fastboot, the fastboot command on my computer doesn't recognize the phone : how do you manage to fastboot the lephone ?

EDIT: I mean for the computer recognize the phone...
 
Hello again ...

For the pc suite, I see there is QtADB for linux, but I don't see any drivers for linux and I tried to install the windows drivers on a friend's windows computer, it seems the phone is no more recognized in the PC suite

I don't see any firmware/fastboot function in the 91 pc suite

hello guys...

i'm already flash my lenovo with this rom, and i think no benefit to it, fisrt Z4root cannot root this gingerbread.
second when the phone light off/standby, and you waking up the light wont bright.

slow response..and etc

and now i'm flashback again to leos2.0 beta, more better with the gesture area and homescreen exclusive clover :D
and btw...i'm manage to make slight change to homescrenn, if u want to change clover home screen just install laucherpro.apk, you can set live wallpaper there, even the lacuherpro.apk is closing.

and guess what, i have 3 homescreen, clover homescreen and it's widget, then laucherpro.apk homescreen with handy screen that you can put aplication on the screen.

2. unplug the sd card and sim card, press and hold the magic key, then press the power button, turn on the bottom left corner there fastboot words, release
3. with fastboot write a new image
fastboot Flash boot boot . img
fastboot Flash System System . img
fastboot Flash UserData UserData . img
4. Restart
fastboot reboot
The second step can be repeated multiple operations, there will be no danger
Non-special statement, update the firmware just perform the second step
Here, has been upgraded to native android
The third step is to install Google apps , optional
1.google apps Download HTTP : / / android.d3xt3r01.tk/cyanogen/gapps
2. Please download GAPPS - hdpi - 20101114 - signed . ZIP
3.adb Push System / / System /
Package contains a lot of google applications, can selectively install
You can use other tools to copy files, but recommended adb

Please let me know when you receive news about Gingerbread for 3GW101 or any news to get newer market version than 1.8.2 on 3GW101 working (already mentioned in other thread ;-) )

Hi, PINO, I think, because I am not a developer, I receive this message when I try to download: "403. That’s an error.
Your client does not have permission to get URL /p/vanilla-lephone/downloads/list from this server".
Any other link ? I installed OS build: 2.0.3 version, and would like to have a newst one, with Google app inside (because I am note in China).
