I cant install a custom recovery image. I cant get su permission. I do have root access.

Do you have USB debugging checked?

Do you have the Rooted 2.1 installed or one of the leaks because if you have a leak you cant flash a rom that has su enabled because it will not pass the Verification Check

Debugging is enabled. Not it is not a leak. I put it on there myself.

did you enable su via shell commands and then remount??

yes. i did adn shell (enter) some other command the (enter) SU (enter)
