Custom Ringtones Not Always Working...

I download from the Market custom ringtones. I then link them to names in the Address book. Sometimes they work other times they don't. Goes directly to the Default Ringtone.

Anyone have this happen to them? Are the ringtone Apps no good?

This is for an HTC EVO 4G

I have the same problem...even with ones that I trimmed myself using the built in.

No problems here using the ones I trimmed from the music I put on my phone with the stock ringtone trimmer already on the phone.

Mine don't work if the SD Card is mounted on my computer. Since the ringtones are stored on there, it can't use it.

Makes sense — just hate it.

Ringtones I've created using Ringdroid don't work, but ones I've download (from Myxer) do. Also, try turning off "Roaming ringtone," found under sound settings. It might help.

EDIT: I turned off Roaming ringtone and rebooted, and now my Ringdroid tones work!
