Help Custom Ringtones/Notification Tones/App Maybe ?

So i recently found out by my friend showing me that apple or iphones or whatever have the ability to take music or sounds or whatever from youtube or other places and put it on there itunes and then bring it on to there phones to make personalized ringtones and notifications tones for like texts n stuff can we android users do that also? just in a different way or form ? like is there an app or something maybe ? or is this an iphone ,itunes thing only? if so that would be so dissapointing :/

to do it also you just need to find the app that would allow to download from youtube and then there is a app that is called music editor that you c

but you should try more then one app so you can find the app that makes you feel comfortable

There are apps out there that can do it, but it is piracy and against T&Cs of this site to mention such apps.

Doing a flyby here and yes to that, and pretty sure it's against YT's TOS also ---to download music/videos etc.

Part of the op question was how to get music into a ringtone (I assume you got the music file on your phone by legitimate methods). Ringdroid will do that
