Root Custom ROM Feature Wishlist

Hey everybody,

With the N9810 source code released, ROM devs are hard at work making a custom ROM. This thread will outline the features you wish to see in the next custom rom.

Features I wish to see:

-Option to limit charge to 80%
-Better GPU drivers (ie. Some games have a horrible ghosting affect that makes them unplayable. Some games are fixed by selecting Disable HW overlays in the developer options menu )
-A flashlight application that utilizes the full brightness of the LED. (May be limited by hardware. LED hardware is ADP1650. In torch mode the LED is limited to 200mA, but in flash mode it is at 1500mA)
-Option to change the WiFi and Phone signal bars to dbm. (numerical values)

A big thank you for developers making custom ROMs for the community.
 
I want an option to limit the battery charge so the battery will last longer. I have to yank the phone off of the charger at 80% and I have seen other roms accomplish this.

All of the flashlight apps utilize the "torch" mode of the LED. I would like something that can use flash mode of the LED. But I dont know if a capacitor connected to the LED is producing the flash. If thats the case, then what I am asking is impossible.
 
yea zte actually set their batteries to overcharge... they go to 110% of normal which is gonna cut its life in half as apposed to normal voltage

that flashlight thing i dunno, but the whole signal thing i think he wants it actually ON the notification bar so you dont gotta open an app to see the db reading
