Root Custom Rom Using Gingerbread?

Okay, so I looked around on the forums and I couldn't seem to find any news on custom roms being built using Gingerbread (Android 2.3). Does anyone know of any such developments? I'm currently running a 2.2.1 based custom rom on my rooted N1 and would love to check out gingerbread.
Btw.. I do know there are some partial rom updates from 2.3 such as the the Gingerbread Keyboard, but I'm wondering if anything whole is in the works.

There's a couple of gingerbread roms built from AOSP on XDA though reading through the posts they appear to be useable but with some niggles.
