Root Custom Roms

Ok currently on JS8 after changing back from 2.3.3 which was sore on the battery. However JS8 is now very stuttery and programs continuously crash all the time. Its very sticky and slow.

After reading a little about custom roms was wondering which is the best to go for and how do you install them. I think I tried one before however couldn't make head nor tail of the instructions.

Any help would be appreciated

You install them via Clockwork Mode. You have to place the .zip on your internal sd-card. Anyway: You have to flash a different kernel first, because the stock kernel doesn
