custom skin for HTC keyboard

can anyone help me with this problem. I've created a few custom skins using a link in the HTC sticky (nothing to fancy lol) my only problem is I can dld it to my phone but it won't let me install it. i don't know where I'm going wrong. any and all help welcome

You should know that the keyboard used with 2.1 is not compatible with 2.2 and 2.3; get the new version of the keyboard (I attached a copy).

Not sure if your modifications will work on this version, do a quick search @ XDA if you need help.
