Help Custom Text alerts after JB upgrade

Anybody know any way to solve this...my text alerts from Zedge and other sources no longer function, I've gotten them working again by changing the notification back n forth but as soon as I shut down and turned it back on problem resumed...

Anyone else having this problem

I think I saw where my text alert went from a Zedge tone to both the tone and vibrate. Also my GMail notification went from a standard tone to the Zedge tone I had on texts. Just a matter of resetting them but I am not sure why they reset in different fashions. Could understand all resetting to default (wouldn't like it but could understand) but not randomness.

I don't use Zedge - I use Lightflow. But I'm having a similar issue where my phone INSISTS on notification sound and vibrate now - even though I've disabled vibrate both in Lightflow and in the phone's system. It's driving me insane! Any ideas?

Edit - nevermind. I found the answer in another thread. Apparently I didn't try looking in the default text app settings. You would think it would be right there in the system settings. But no. Anyway, sorry to hijack.

I have a profiles app and after JB upgrade have the same problem with sound notification and vibe at same time, even though vibe was turned off everywhere. Only solution for me was to remove the profiles app. No more unwanted vibe. I am guessing that many apps are not fully JB-compliant yet.

Thanks. I did get this one figured out - but I have noticed that several apps have been glitching out since the update. I'd rather not need to do a full factory reset, but it may come to that. But for now I don't mind tweaking. Obviously. Otherwise, why would I be on this board?
