So just jumping right in... I'm a forum newbie (hi!) who was just given a Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 as a gift. It's running android 4.2.2, and I can't figure out how to customise the apps in the favourites tray on the homescreen. I really don't want the generic Internet and Email apps haunting my every move, but they really just don't wanna budge.
Pressing and holding the offending apps doesn't do anything. Setting the apps to Customisable Grid view and hitting edit means I can edit the app layout in the app list, but not the apps in the favourites tray. Swearing at the homescreen isn't having much effect either, although it does make me feel a little better.
Am I being daft? Or is there really no way to customise the apps in the favorites tray?
Thanks in advance for any advice you might be able to give me
