Customize: Audio applications

Hi everyone,

my first android, my first samsung, and my first post!

When i'm playing music, i pull down the notification screen, and under Audio applications, it lists out 'Earphones connected to the device', and lists out video player, music player, talk, radio and youtube.

does anyone know how this can be customized, or hidden? i'm not really sure what it's for either. Any ideas?

coming from an iOS world, i must say that i'm liberated.

I've got that on my G3 too. It looks like a quick way to open audio apps when the headphones are in. I can see that being handy, but it'd be a lot more useful if I could control which apps are listed.

Anyone who finds a way to change them, it'd be muchly appreciated.

I believe that you would need to get a custom rom to change those things built into the OS.
