Help customizing lockscreen...

any way (or app) to hide the clock, and "(no service)" from the lockscreen??
(outside of rooting...)

There's MagicLocker (free) and WidgetLocker ($2.99) on the Market. I believe both have such options, I can't say 100% because I haven't used either of them myself.

thanks but...anyone actually USE something that allows those changes? i know widget locker ADDS a lockscreen BEFORE the default. i want to ALTER the default screen...
