I am fed up and bored with samsung home.. Are there any good custom roms which has stylish UI and good memory performance???

Also search XDA developers. I couldn't find a specific forum for the Galaxy Ace, but there's probably a few ROMs floating around somewhere....

There are atleast a hundred custom roms for ace at xda, there are new roms coming almost each and every day.

If you want new looks, you can flash a new theme, it'll drastically change your looks but it requires a rooted device.

For non-rooted users, you can try a new launcher, it'll be quite a new experience with the home UI, samsung ui is really boring. Launchers support loads of themes, the modification by these themes is limited but it does give a fresh new look.

@xxkid123: the roms at that link are not up to date, some of the roms are months old and most are not supported anymore.

I recommend this ROM...you wil be surprised with your SGA,it will be blazing fast! It also has a ICS theme optimised for this ROM but you will need to flash it...the ROM can also be overclocked and it is stock based...

  That list is 3 months old man, there have come almost 20 new roms since then and many new kernels.
  Let him explore a bit of xda, there's just too much there to keep a list up-to-date.

Hi Guys,
i have updated to official cyanogenmod 7.2 (01-07-2012 release). Its pretty fast and can be overclocked (not yet tested).

Just wanna know whether cyanogenmod 9 (ICS) is released for for SGA??

Official CM9 will not be released for ACE, however the developers at xda (GalaxyICS Team) have already made it from the original sources for our ACE.
It is still in development stage, but can be used for daily use. There are only a few bugs remaining before a fully working rom is released.
