I think what you mean, is what type of CWM can i use to flash this or what roms can be flashed through this CWM. you dont use a rom to flash anything. you use cwm to flash flashable zips

Oh I know that. I was wondering if I could flash like a non-overclocked rom on this or if that would be a stupid idea. I tried flashing ctmod on 6.0.2.8 and I got a really bad soft brick. That's all I was wondering.
 
Well I've been using this daily while installing various ROMs, and various development versions of CM 10.1 and CM 7.

Also as a host for adb shell, etc.
 
I remember there being problems flashing ROMs on 5.0.2.8 and 5.0.2.7 depending if they were ext-4 or rfs; however, since the 6.x.x.x CWMs that problem should be no more.

I'm guessing it depends on how the ROM is trying to mount the filesystems in the kernel image. So yeah, I'd try a factory reset, reflash the ROM, and if it still doesn't boot, try a different kernel.

If you're still having problems, see this link for details on how to provide me with a logcat so I can diagnose the problem.
 
Are you trying to flash this CWM? strangely enough you cant flash this cwm when you are on version 5.0.2.7. You have to use cwm 5.0.2.8 then flash this to be able to get it. I got the same thing when trying to flash this

HMMM, i will try to upgrade and do this.... i have just been waiting for a killah bean update so that i can kill 2 birds with one stone. (Upgrade to this cwm and then install new killahbean ROM).
