Root cwm help (error cant mount backup path)

i installed the cwm all is well im trying to make a back up before i start flashing, but i keep gettiing cant mount backup path ? and yes i have an sd card

are you trying to backup or backup to external sd?

backup i guess i didnt see the backup to external? im gonna look again i would have seen i would have used it this is what i just did booted in to cwm went to backup and restor, backup and then i get the error i just tried to mounts and storage , mount sd card, getting error mounting sd card



starting to wonder if my sd card is s***

both options work. i'm just trying to get info to help you troubleshoot. which cwm did you install?

the touch recovery (touch-recovery2), this kinda shi* always happens to me lol

i was gonna try the non touch cwm you posted would i install the same as idid this one?

both cwm, touch and non-touch install same way. goto thread All the basics and dl from there

i did dl from that, and i was just double checking on the install. dont want to brick my phone.. im gonna flash and try give me a few min... and thanx for helping ill let you know

im getting the same error

If you have another to try, it might be a good idea. But, if you tries just the backup earlier then that should have backed up to internal sd

i just tried the back up to internal that is working backing up as we speak, ill have to do everything from internal for now(that sucks) , ill try another sd card as soon as i can found the one i have lying around, yeah for sum reason it not finding my sd i might just reformat and go from their that dont work ill try another sd ill let you guys know thanks for helping, just notice this on the cwm log it says.... sd card space free:2118mb after the backing up boot img, recovery,etc back up completed no sd-ext found skipping back up of sd-ext ( so it sees the sdcard then it dont ?) weird

the sd-ext partition is on there for if/when you format your sdcard with an sd-ext.
on the cwm when it refers to sdcard its talking about the internal, it will refer to the other as external sd

o ok well im gonna go ahead say im pretty sure its the sd card cause its giving me hard time on the computer too but iwillet a knows whats going on . im going to try a few other things
