whats a samsung galaxy s3 clone? do u mean a bootlegged galaxy s3? if so its not metro branded even for that matter so not sure if we can assist u with adding cwm on that matter since all the tuts we have here are for a specific variant. with that being said im moving this thread to the gs3 general subforum. If you have anymore questions please don't hesitate to ask here.
Unless you can find a specific recovery for that device, I'm 99.99% sure none of the recoveries for existing, real SGS3's will work, sorry.
It could be anything, with the number of clones available, I don't think it's safe to say one recovery would work with all clones.
