Root CWM/Titanium Backup Question

whenever i restore my phone in cwm, certain apps (mainly Handy safe pro) the data is missing and i have to reenter account numbers and passwords, etc. stored within the app. Also happens with Touchdown for android. when i restore from within that app, it says no backup found on sd card. i then tried to restore the app and data from titanium backup, and still no joy.
I'm sure it has something to do with where the apps are installed, but I just cant get it figured out. This is my first phone with an internal sd card option, so I'm kinda lost. any help is greatly appreciated.

You will need to change where the Titanium stores it's backups. I made a Titanium Backup folder on my sd card, then went into Titanium's settings and chose the folder on the sd card. You also have to go into settings/ storage on the phone and chose to save files to the sd card. You can choose which data you want to save on the sd itself. Also, when in Root Explorer, the sd card reads as sd-ext. I had to scroll down and look for the actual folder called sd-ext.

Hope this helps out. I too was a little confused until I finally got it figured out.
