So what's the deal with the CWM touch ? Can't get the recovery.img to work, I fastboot it & nadda the only way it works is if I use Rom manager to reboot into recovery, but if I do an hboot to get into recovery it's my old cwm ?

Its something wrong with cwm for all devices that have touch if you dl the recovery touch image from clockworkmod site you would see it wont stick ...

Its called fake flash. It is that way because the device is S-ON. All S-ON devices are the same way. Why koush doesn't build and recovery.img for touch is beyond me.

Yeah he has a zip but can't find the IMG file anywhere and if y'all are saying it won't stick anyway I'm good with CWM non-touch this is a small screen and I'd prefer being more careful than the touch recovery would allow on this device anyway.

Use twrp2 I posted. Very fat finger friendly

Okay I have a question, on my device when I first rooted it, I installed TWRP 2.2.0 and flashed it, now I have ROM Manager and downloaded and installed CWM and I can boot into CWMR from the ROM Manager menu, but when I do HBOOT I still am on the TWRP ROM? I tried flashing the CWM Over TWRP but it wont stick.

Can you provide me with the latesy CWM Recovery Image? I couldn't find it on the official site at all, only a zipped file archive, that I tried flashing through the menu, but I dont think I can flash the .zip can I?

Androidfiles.org/uploads

Go to primoc then click recoveries.

Thanks, but thats 5.5.0.4? And when I install it on my device after i click an option the screens blank with the ROM logo? I have an HTC One V CDMA and the latest it seems is 5.8.4.7, but I cant find an image file for that to flash that, only the zip files over at ROM manager, that refuse to stick when flashed through ROM manager, is there a fix?

To get it to work, scroll all the way down to the bottom, scroll down again to loop back to the top, scroll up, scroll down. That should enable the power button to select. Or you can just install the twrp recovery. Touch based and customizable.
