Root CWM won't do anything?

Just recently got this phone. It was actually reasonably easy to root, despite everyone saying how hard it is.

My problem now is with CWM. I can't get it to do anythiing at all. I'm trying to flash a ROM, but when I hit the power button after highlighting anything, I juet get a blank screen with the CWM logo and no options.

I will look around but if it isnt on XDA forums for the one v..it probably isnt out there.

thats cool,people change things on me all the time lol. i would use TWRP recovery vs cwm. its touch screen and very easy to get used to.

That's exactly what I did. It seems to work perfectly.

try hitting the volume up then down, repeat a couple time and it will unlock CWM

i was having trouble w cwm, curtis pointed me towards twrp, and it worked.
