I have had cwm for this device for a while but no way to test it, if that doesn't frustrate someone I don't know what will lol. A dev and I have tried getting 2nd init working for our device but that seems to be a no go. We need some help from an experienced person but help is hard to find.

I'm not experienced with unlocking bootloader or trying to get recovery to flash with a locked bootloader, but I have three years of experience surfing web, XDA, Android Central, and Android Forums, looking for solutions to problems.
I know how to pull apart a ROM to modify it, including the .jar and .apk files
I now have an LG Optimus L70 MS323.
I'm rooted with Link2SD, a terminal emulator, and Root Explorer installed. I know where the boot, system, cache, user data, and recovery partitions are located on this phone.
I have a linux distro installed on computer and know how to set up a build environment, Windows XP with full Android SDK and APK Multi Tool, know the bootloader's fastboot commands from terminal, and have many LG utilities (and many that aren't). I have helped many to unbrick their Optimus V's as well.
Seems to me a custom flash_image is needed before a recovery can even be flashed (I didn't even see a flash_image in the /system/ folders).
I think once a custom recovery is flashed you should be ok (Might have to format the recovery partition first some how).
I get the same thing everybody else is getting when trying all manner of commands to boot into recovery partition

Just found out the flash_image is no longer needed on new phones after Android 2.3.

Hey Shabbypenguin, how familiar are you with 2nd init and getting it to work on a new device? I could really use some help from someone who has experience with it or has resources that could help to figure it out

not one bit unfortunetly :/ i do regular recoveries, trust me id love to help out but im a good bit useless with that kind of stuff. i would however suggest talking to hroark (you can find him in our irc or on the oudhs subforum) as he did teh lg motions .
