more like non-existant XDJust get a recovery app. The button combos for this phone are very unreliable. (Quickboot is my favorite)

the combo sir. i know there are applications to reboot into recovery; its a problem to not be a able to boot directly into recovery when a flash goes wrong or a step is missed.Recovery apps exist. I don't see your point. Or you talking about the combo?

Yeah, That was the first thing I did. after using towelroot that is.Yea yea, that's the only downside, or you could do 'fastboot reboot recovery' in fastboot mode, since you do have the bootloader unlocked. Right?
Linux or Windows. And are you using file higharchy?Could i please get some help ?
I dont really understand how im supposed to just write "cd" then the location of the file ?
Like "cd desktop", it doesn't work.
Im in windows, i have know idea if im using file higharchy, but i asked in another thread and i was told to just open a command window in the folder where i have the recovery.img but when i tried the code "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" it tells me that fastboot isnt an internal command, extern command or some stuff, i roughly translated that from swedish to english.Linux or Windows. Nope, doesn't work it just tells me "cant find the searchpath"Instead of cd desktop, try cd C://Users/yourusernamehere/Desktop/
Did you replace yourusernamehere with your name in Windows?Nope, doesn't work it just tells me "cant find the searchpath"
cd C:/Users/<Change to current account's username>/Desktop/Nope, doesn't work it just tells me "cant find the searchpath"
boot back into fastboot mode, and reflash. if it breaks again; try PhilZ recovery instead using the same process. (Philz was the one that worked for me the best)Finally got the code to work, did the reboot and downloaded the "awesome app" and if i understood everything i was supposed to reboot to recovery ? Yeah i pressed that in the app and now my phone shows a purple screen that says demigod crash handler with a bunch of stuff. So i guess i have bricked it now ?
So, boot into fastboot again reflash then reboot recovery on the app after ?boot back into fastboot mode, and reflash. if it breaks again; try PhilZ recovery instead using the same process. (Philz was the one that worked for me the best)
Okey i went in to the app and pressed reboot to recovery and first the lg logo came with some text in top left corner then the screen went purple like last time. Am i even doing this correctly?Okey i did the Philz and im rebooted now, what exactly am i supposed to do , im abit confused. Do i start the reebooter app now and press "reboot to recovery"
Reboot and instead of flashing recovery from fastboot, use the command on that threadOkey i went in to the app and pressed reboot to recovery and first the lg logo came with some text in top left corner then the screen went purple like last time. Am i even doing this correctly?
Sorry, but what exactly do you mean? Also why do i have to reboot to recovery ? isnt it done after the flash ?Reboot and instead of flashing recovery from fastboot, use the command on that thread
