Root Cyanogen 7.2.0 after root

after installing this I have ran into a problem with the calendar, its asking for an exchange account? I dont have exchange and dont want to upload personal details to any mail server would I be best downloading a separate calendar app or is there a work around with whats already on

Congrats on the new signature! Sorry I can't help you much with the calendar issue. I can't seem to duplicate the problem on my phone. What do you see under Settings > Account & sync settings > Manage accounts?

When I go to accounts and sync for some strange reason it wants me to set up an exchange account and when i click calender it wants the same.

I would just like to have a "normal" calendar if poss, not linked with google or yahoo. My old iPhone could sync with outlook no problem not wanting an exchange acc

updated gapps and calender is fine now, can also log into market now but getting error download unsuccessful after trying to download a app.
