Cyanogen and overclock

Hi All ,

Have a galaxy s running 2.3.6 which is a real good phone , was debating whether to install cyanogen stable 7.1 and possibly overclock - anyone done either ? and are there any real benefits and performance increase to warrant either ?

Since it is a custom ROM, it will get rid of some of the bloatware...usually the stuff that is not needed.

With overclock, it will make your phone respond and preform faster.
Depends if you think your phone is a bit laggy as it is right now.

I do not have cyanogen but have a different custom rom. I love having it, just being able to have root access and the overclocking. Im also using the galaxy s.

It all depends on why you want to go with the ROM. What are your reasons?
I did mine just for curiosity and was tired of the laggyness of the phone.
Love it now!
