I'm running CM12 on my T-MO variant,liking it enough to be my daily driver.

Any way to side-load some of the S-PEN apps & have 'em work on CM-12?

Haven't tried it, but I would like my S-Pen to work, particularly with Action Memo. I'll work on that. Currently running CM12 on my Verizon Note 4 DE. A few "growing pains" but nonetheless happy enough with it to make it a daily driver as well.

Okay, Kolio, I have downloaded 3 apps: Papyrus, CM S pen Add-On and Note Buddy. Between the three of them, I am assured of some form of S Pen functionality. I'll let you know how they work (if I can ever stop clean flashing new ROM versions)

Well, I've had it.

Cyanogenmod is a great AOSP ROM, but this L-based ROM for the Verizon Note 4 DE is too experimental for me. Buggy, random reboots, data drops... besides, I bought the Note 4 for the S Pen functions. Action Memo, S Note... all missing from CM12 because it's an AOSP ROM and not stock-based. It sort of neuters the Note 4 and renders it just another big Android phone.

Back on Definitive 1.7 and I feel like the prodigal son come home. While I miss Lollipop, I don't miss CM at all.

New cm12.1 is up for sprint note 4 today. Bug free and runs great. Cmremix also sync'd up and is running great. Yeah baby!

There is an App called "SPenCommand" which brings back many SPen features. You can visit the official site or Google for it.

What I like about Definitive 1.8 is that it's the only Note 4 ROM I'm aware of that supports Gear VR (which I also own). I have all my Samsung functionality, Gear VR... I am one happy camper! But if pure, stock CM is something you're fond of, by all means get it
