Go to Settings > About phone > System updates to get it. Unlike previous updates, this is a full ROM that can be flashed clean, but beware that it flashes a stock recovery.

If using TWRP, be sure it's updated to the latest version or it may not work.

Aside from upgrading to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, this adds the following features to Cyanogen's already feature-rich implementation of CM11s:
  • ability to theme individual apps
  • new Cyanogen email powered by Boxer

Somebody on Reddit has kindly uploaded the file to Mega, so you can download the OTA there and flash from recovery, stock or custom. You should be on CM11s with an unmodified system partition (no Xposed, deleted system apps, etc.) before flashing. I recommend that you wipe cache / dalvik-ART cache before flashing. You can also wipe /data as well and do a clean install which is the best option, but you lose your data.

Although this will flash over CM11/CM12 nightlies, it is NOT recommended.
DO NOT attempt to flash this from OxygenOS. I know of two brickings already!!!

Did not update when I checked "System Updates". I am in China and I use a vpn in the phone to access Google services. I tried updating with and without the vpn. Perhaps this update gets sent out in waves, depending on the country. Just a thought.
 
Flashed it this morning via TWRP, working great (I'm fine with Oxygen too though, plus knowing what lollipop brings or leaves behind helps)

Battery life is stellar so far although I am using privacy guard due to the google play services issue. Not noticed any real bugs so far :)
 
Just had a look at that reddit and it says you have to be on XNPH44S to apply the update but I'm not

So... in the last 24 hours I've jumped from Oxygen to CM12 nightlys, then back down to cm11S and finally onto the official CM12S (via flash not OTA), Taking backups all along the way in case I mucked it up.

And I've got to say I'm loving the new OS. Oxygen was very vanilla and cut down, but I'm loving all of the nice little touches that CM12 adds... Now all I have to do is spend the time tweaking it back to how I liked it back before I installed Oxygen.

If there are apps that'll root (Towelroot,for example) the 1+1,FLASHIFY should be able to handle the rest:

Perhaps someone @ XDA has a 1+1 ROM that is pre-rooted that you could flash.
Been a while since I had a 1+1,but,doesn't it come from the factory with a recovery to where you can flash .zip files?
 
It basically activates the microphone/google now function on your phone. It won't "just" wake the phone. If they are delaying the rollout to add this functionality, that could be troublesome. Multiple lollipop phones are running into issues with the Ok Google functionality.
 
Yeah that's cool man I'd love that feature. So Wtf made them start a rollout then delay it?? Seems a bit stupid to me man (Cafe's link isn't working for me btw) :thumbsupdroid:
