I apologize if someone found a simpler method.

Root and flash the CM11 Rom. backup boot.img

change build.prop #persist.radio.multisim.config=dsds
reboot
Flash https://db.tt/Kr5geKwB cm11.zip for full storage
Reboot
Make sure developer options are turned on and your pc is authorized.
Not sure but my device doesn't let me boot zippy kernel so with the bootloader locked flash https://www.mediafire.com/?gf8bb7q9iacp1do Zippy Kernel 2.2
Upon reboot The LG logo you will be able to adb shell into the device. Reboot recovery (works 2nd try)
flash the boot.img or use the boot.img in that you had originally uploaded below
reboot and enjoy gps.

I have a 323 and already using cm 11...my question is what's the best way of doing this for the GPS fix?

Something to do with flashing the boot.img from the original cm11 or reflashing. Unfortunately its inconsistent.
