Root Cyanogenmod 7.1.0 for Micromax A85(EXPERIMENTAL)

procedure for the update......

I downloaded the Cynogenmod 7.1.0 of optimus 2x but got error 7 : build.prop error..

is this the same one?

thanks for your work, i was crying for someone to port this beautiful cyanogen mod on this phone.

I'm just trying to install it and i'll tell you if its worked or not.
 
it wont first will give u status 0 error than if you replace the update-binary you'll get status 7 i dont know why call some devs to help you

This is a very common problem with the A85 CWM recovery ...

This is not ur or the User's fault :)

the recovery has something weird :p

Even other ROM's zips are not flash-able :p [ [ We tried Jet 3.1 ] ]

maybe the default recovery dont show this error or maybe rz recovery ??? :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
this does'nt works.. anyways i have contacted a very recognised dev at xda let's see what happens..

currently he is working on CM9 for optimus 2X

and btw u can forget about any update from micromax because their 90% phones are made by aliyun micromax is just like a distributor for aliyun with a diffrent brand..
