Root Cyanogenmod 7.2 unlock gestures.

I had a problem with Gestures, I made a gesture pretty simple W and i disabled the swipe to unlock but they phone would not unlock with the gesture, I had to reinstall THE PHONE

Going to try again this time I have many gestures to fall back on, a line should unlock easily

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem with gestures not working when the swipe to unlock has been turned off.

Also what would be the best way to lock your phone and how many layers can I have, can I also have a pin and how do I set that up ???

You could have just hit the factory reset instead of installing fresh.

The only way to get layers of lockscreens is by using another lockscreen app which has a bug that even after unlocking through that app you have to swipe unlock the default screen again.
Its actually using a defficiency of a lockscreen app, but will work to your advantage.
For the pin number lockscreen there is an option for that in the security settings.

Yeah that what I did a Factory reset, could not think of the of what it was called, DUH.

This time I made many gestures and tested them before I turned off the swipe to unlock and it's working fine now
