Cyanogenmod for my VZW S4?

Hi there everyone!

I've done A LOT of reading on this but the issue that I have is that there are tons of differing tutorials and when I read the official CMOD install page, it's not very noob-friendly.

Could someone please point me toward a how-to for dummies for installing Cyanogenmod on a rooted S4 with 5.0.1? Here's my device specifics:

Verizon SCH-1545
Android Ver. 5.0.1
Baseband: 1545VRUGOF1
Kernel: 3.4.0 dpi@SWDD6122 #1
Root via: Kingoroot. Verified to have root through Root Check (app store)

Your bootloader is locked permanently. No upgrade, no CyanogenMod, no Marshmallow. You are stuck with TouchWiz Lollipop for the duration of the phones existence. Please believe me. I am an expert on the matter. DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING! Consult with me first.
There are custom TouchWiz based ROMs available, they are all Lollipop. Let me know if you are interested.

First, let me say that I believe you, that I consider you the authority on the matter and that I won't go behind your back, later needing a topic relating to bricking the S4 because I didn't listen to your sage advice. I definitely won't need a second thread pointing to XDA, the home of the uber-rooters, because I didn't feel the first topic lent you enough credibility in the matter. Let's try to keep your next reply less confrontational than the last one. I'm just asking these things for the purpose of understanding and swear to any God that exists that I'm not doubting your knowledge in the matter.

Is the reason this phone can't have another ROM because it had been upgraded to 5.0.1? The reason I ask is because the CMOD forums has tons of topics in the S4 cat where people are using it and youtube has some videos where people are doing the upgrade and first run. Would the phone have been capable of running it if it were on stock 4.4.2? If it were something like that, maybe I could find a used phone running 4.4.2.
