CyanogenMod or OmniROM?

Hi all,

I have finally decided that I am going to get an HTC One M7 in order to jump back into Android. I am fed up with my iPhone and its restrictions.

Anyway, I am trying to decide whether I should go with CyanogenMod, OmniROM, or the Google Play Edition ROM.

From experience and such, what do you guys recommend?

Also, as far as Cyanogen goes, should I go for the stable build of 10 or just jump right into 11?

Thanks!

Just get the m8 newer and better user friendly software .update the software to kk which would be cm11

It should be noted that when Cyanogen moved to CM11 they changed their nomenclature and release cycles. Basically there is the nightly builds and there is the M-builds which is a stable build that they are releasing on a 4 to 6 week cycle (it is sort of like the Firefox and Chrome release cycles).

Anyway - as for which ROM you should get, I suppose that depends on what you want out of the ROM. I'd get a KK Rom though.

Try both mate. Also try some other roms that are based on CM. They have more features.
All the kitkat roms are really stable now no matter what status they have, beta, nightly, ect in experience.
Just be sure to have a nandroid backup of stock then try a few
