Root Cyanogenmod ROM Differences?

Rewt

Newbie
Hi,
I was recently thinking of switching to a JB rom now the MMS was supposedly fixed. Anyways, I tried mazda's AOKP but found it to be unstable so now I want to try Cyanogenmod. I noticed both Gangnam Style (on xda) and HTCCM10 (by g60) and was wondering if there are any real differences between them? From what it looks like, both are just ports of CM10 with no major changes.

Thanks

If you found mazda's AOKP ROM "unstable" I recommend that you try the CM10 version here. I've never heard anyone on the XDA Evo 3D forums call it that and I've used it myself with no stability problems at all.

As you stated, the GANGNAM ROM is very close to the CM10 base and it appears from the OP that the CM10 version on this forum is as well, so maybe you will have better luck with a ROM designed for and tested on the Evo V 4G.

G60s rom was built for the evo v specifically. The others were designed for the sprint evo 3d.

As far as mazda's goes, it didn't crash, but every half hour it would completely freeze for ~30 seconds (it wouldn't respond to the touchscreen or the power button).

And thanks, those answer my question.

Ive been on it for about a day and have never experienced this. Could have been the kernel
