Root D2G Custom ROMs?

Will D2 ROMs run on the D2G or will they need to be specifically built? Anyone running a custom ROM on a D2G?
 
D2 ROMs are different from D2G roms.

I haven't seen anyone come out with a D2G rom yet.

Also hoping someone can get the D2G SBF file
