Help D2G Screen shut down/ unlock/shutdown issue

New d2g screen shutsdown occasionally while in use. I push power button and slide lock to open screen and it shuts down again repeating the process a few times. I uninstalled all apps and still does this sporadically. I have current updates installed. I just unchecked" in pocket" option to serif that does it. Any suggestions?
 
My wife has been complaining about the same thing, the screen blanks at different times, like when she has to enter her password for vmail.

Wher do you get to the "in pocket" option?
