Help Damaged SD Card Error

My phone gave me the following message: "Damaged SD Card Try and Reformat it".
I took out my SD card and place it back in. It worked fine but after about 30 minutes I got the same message again. Has anyone had this problem? Should I reformat my SD card or will I keep on having the same issue?

I'd copy the data on your sd card to a pc and reformat it with your phone.
Don't forget to re copy you apps that you moved to the sd card using app
manager, so you don't loose them after you reformat you sdcard.

After you reformat you can set "Use set sd as default storage device in settings/storage.

If this doesn't work or causes you any more problems after you take these steps your data won't be loss and you should then just replace the sd card since they cheap enough now days and maybe even upgrade while you can since your data will be safe on your computer or thumb drive.
Good luck

I formatted the SD Card and now its giving me a message saying "The Phone Storage Is Damaged". Plus the phone is really slow now. Could it be the actual phone that has problems and not the SD Card?

wipe the cashe in recovery ( Vol up and power while booting) and try again if its still there afterwards its probley the sd card.

Even if the phone has gone bad its a lot cheaper and easier checking it this way than a warranty claim.

Also Check running apps in settings/applications just in case you have a rouge app .

Hi! I have a problem with my SD Card. I placed it but it keeps on saying 'NO SD CARD' & 'Please insert your SD Card'. I restart my phone, remove the SD Card and place it back. But the result still the same. How do I fix this? Hoping for fast reply. Thanks :)

Hi guys! Can anyone help me? My android wont read my sd card and says "Memory card is damaged, try reformatting it." I already tap that and format but its not formatting.
