Root Damaged sd card

Phone keeps reporting new sd card as damaged. I rebooted to no avail. Ive tried the sd card out in other devices, it worked. Some ideas?

This happened to me awhile back when changing to a larger sd card. Try to format it, if the phone doesn't format it properly try to format in a different device.

I'm experiencing the same problem.. sort of. My sdcard is the same one I've been using but after i flashed the twrp recovery my sd card stopped working.. my phone keeps saying damaged sdcard even after i formatted it on both my phone my moms esteem and my sisters old samsung phone it works on theirs but not mine :'(

Fixed it.

lucky im still stuck with a "damaged sdcard"
although i can backup and restore from it on cmw recovery

I used to different device to format the card. Then I formated one more on pc. It fixes it right up. Now I have 32gigs of free space.
