Root dammit, my widgets keep dissapearing

i flash to zvd. all widgets there! i root. all widgets there! i use mybackup and restore all my apps. i loose a bunch of (stock) widgets! i check /system/app, and they are there (non deodexed). i try to click em to force install. did not work. i rename the apk and odex to .bak (powercontrol.apk, there are others but i haven't messed with them) reboot, drag a deodexed powercontrol.apk in, changed permissions to the proper permissions, and reboot. still not showing up in widgets. im tearing my hair out and frankly im tired of going out and having to buy an app every time a stock widget breaks so bad i cannot use it anymore.

so far, my weather widget, favorite contacts widget, calender widget, power control, and my music widget are all broken, and do not show up in the list.

please help me figure out whats wrong.

I am running adw ex.. But honestly, I I had most of these widgets running previously on adw.. I just opened the stock launcher and all the widgets are available. Powercontrol should run on any launcher tho!
