The Damn part: I dropped my OG Droid in my driveway Sunday night, shattering the screen. This thing has been through hell, camera button works but is kind of floppy, dings and scratches all over it, headphone jack works most of the time, but I have alway loved all the different ROMS that I had to play with but Asurion didnt have the d1 in stock anymore and wanted to send a replacement.
The Woot: I've had Asurion for 5 years now, they just sent me out a Droid X as a replacement (they were going to send the Droid 2 Star Wars edition but I'm not as big of a Star Wars fan as Night Angel so I declined and took the Droid X).
The Bigger Woot: I still have an upgrade available on my line since August, but now have a Droid X without having to have used it and because I've had them forever I am still grandfathered in under the $50 deductible.
I'm backing up all my apps via Titanium right now and downloading Z4-root tool and Koush's bootstrap recovery for the X, cant wait to get root and Fab's ApeX Rom running on it.
Cliffs: dropped d1, it broke
, asurion is sending me dx 
as replacement device for my $50 deductible 
and I still have my upgrade available for next years Tegra 2 devices.
